[Class 12 (i)] A ball - bearing cage a for oblique thrust bearings of the kind in which an undulating ring passes round the outer side of one ball at a<1>, between the balls at a2 to the other side of the cage, and round the next ball at a<3> and so on, has its imaginary inner and outer limiting surfaces of conical form or curved so as to be disposed tangentially to the said conical surface. The invention is applicable to single and double row bearings. |
