PURPOSE: An information input apparatus is provided to reduce the size of the area of the information input apparatus by reducing the moving space between a sliding member and a securing magnet. CONSTITUTION: A first magnet(120) is inserted into an acceptation hole(112) of a base(110). A printed circuit board(130) is located on the upper side of the base. The bottom of a hosing(200) is secured on the printed circuit board. A sliding member(160) is installed inside the housing. A button(190) moves with the sliding member as one body.
