PURPOSE: A varifocal lens focus and zoom control system for a CCTV camera is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost of a monitoring camera by implementing an automatic focusing monitoring camera. CONSTITUTION: An image pickup device(111) is inputted through very focal lens and converted into the electric signal. An image processing unit(112) outputs a motion detection signal by sensing the motion of the object. A magnification setting unit(131) sets up the magnification of verifocal lens in the movement of object. A focus reduction gear(173) controls the reduction ratio between a focusing motor(172) and a focus control person(174).
