Next, the data signal is transmitted from the controller device (3) to the camera device (2) via the coaxial cable (5) instead of receiving the video signal from the camera device during the video period on the basis of the reception of the authorization command. As a result, a camera system capable of performing large-capacity data communication using a coaxial cable for a video signal can be provided.</p>
