<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular interior part which enables an airbag to be easily deployed while securing the appearance and fitting quality of the vehicular interior part. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular interior part is equipped with: an interior part body 1 installed to the cabin side of a vehicle body panel 22; an airbag 10 installed in a space between the vehicle body panel 22 and the interior part body 1; a deploying unit 3 demarcated in a part of the interior part body 1 area and turned in the deploying direction of the airbag 10 to open an opening; locking pieces 31 and 32 provided in the deploying unit 3 in an end side of the deploying unit 3 being an outer edge in turning of the deploying unit 3; and engaging units 34 and 35 provided in a fixed part 21 which the end side of the deploying unit 3 is abutted on, and receiving the locking pieces 31 and 32 to lock the movement of the deploying unit 3 in its turning direction. The locking pieces 31 and 32, and the engaging units 34 and 35 are provided in a region other than a predetermined region C which the front end 11 of the airbag 10 is abutted on at an initial deployment of the airbag 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
