PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal tape for inkjet recording head with sufficient adhesion which suppresses both the increase of adhesion caused by a change with time and the deterioration of adhesive caused by the attack of ink components and is capable of reducing the quantity of a component eluting from the adhesive. SOLUTION: In the seal tape for inkjet recording head joined detachably to a chip surface where a discharge port has been formed, the seal tape has a base material layer and an adhesive layer on the base material layer. The adhesive layer is composed of (1) 70-100 mass% of (A)-(B)-(A) type block copolymer which has no unsaturated carbon bond and comprises a vinyl aromatic compound unit (a) and an olefin hydrocarbon unit (b) ((A) is counted by (a) to be a unit, (B) is counted by (b) to be unit) and (2) 0-30 mass% of polyolefin while the content by percentage of the (a) unit in the (1) being 10-30 mass%.
