PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor that reduces vibrations and noises. SOLUTION: The DC motor includes: a stator 102 having six magnets 105 and 106 provided in line in the circumferential direction; an armature core having 22 teeth T1 to T22 provided in line in the circumferential direction; a commutator 113 having 22 segments 1 to 22; a winding wire M wound by double wave windings; and positive pole side brushes 121a to 121c and negative pole side brushes 122a to 122c depressed to contact with the segments 1 to 22. Three each of the positive pole side brushes 121a to 121c and negative pole side brushes 122a to 122c are alternately provided at an equal angle interval; each width angle WB slidably contacting with the segments 1 to 22 is set so that WB=(2/3)×WP+WU is satisfied wherein the width angle of the pitch of the segments 1 to 22 is WP (WP=360°/number of segments) and the width angle of the gap between adjacent segments 1 to 22 in the circumferential direction is WU.
