PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating piece which can compose a small and narrowband frequency filter. SOLUTION: A compound tuning fork type vibrating piece 100 includes a support beam 10 extended in a direction of X axis, a plurality of tuning fork type vibrating pieces 20 projected in a direction of Y axis perpendicular to the X axis from the support beam 10 to be formed, and a connection beam 30 connecting the adjoining tuning fork type vibrating pieces 20 and formed apart from the support beam 10. The tuning fork type vibrating piece 20 has a base portion 22 and a pair of vibrating arms 24, and the connection beam 30 is connected to the base portion 22 of the tuning fork type vibrating piece 20.
