<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack having a good cooling function with a simple construction for reliably exhausting air introduced into a cooling medium flow path. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell stack 10 includes a plurality of stacked fuel cells 12, and a second terminal plate 14b, a second insulating plate 16b and a second end plate 18b stacked on the upper end in the direction of gravitational force as the stacking direction. A predetermined number of flat spacers 80 are mounted between the second end plate 18b and the second insulating plate 16b. An air vent mechanism 60 has a cylindrical part 56 provided on the second insulating plate 16b while protruding from a position corresponding to a cooling medium inlet communication hole 30a in the stacking direction, and an air vent valve member 62 arranged movably along the inner wall face of the cylindrical part 56 in the stacking direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
