PURPOSE:To reduce deviation of color and image registrating, and to simplify judgement of timing for controlling sequential steps, by clearing a synchronizing pulse count value at each rotation of a drum. CONSTITUTION:A pulse for indicating the number of revolution of a drum is generated 88 at each time when a photoconductive drum rotates by just one revolution, and one pulse of drum rotation synchronization pulses is generated 86 at each rotation of a prescribed angle to control drive and stop of each member of a copying mechanism. At that time, when the drum rotation indicating pulse comes, an electrostatic controller decides the copy processing mode to be executed at the next cycle of the drum from copy action setting mode data and a flag position in a data block. If shifts the flag to the next position in the data block, and sets a copy processing mode, clears a counted number of the drum rotation synchronization pulses, starts its count newly, and decides each timing of energization of each member of a copy processing mode set on the basis of this count value. |
