PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely receive reaction force and impact generated in a related metallic component such as a barrel and receiver during shooting by a stock by securing the strength of the stock itself, to provide excellent mounting strength of the metallic component and the stock, and to thin the stock without making it clumsy and increasing its diameter, in a bolt-action gun. SOLUTION: The bolt-action gun includes: the barrel 2; the receiver 1 having one end to which the barrel 2 is coupled, the other end storing a bolt assembly and a lower face in which a magazine fitting hole is opened; a trigger housing 4; a trigger guard 10 having a trigger protecting part 6 and a plate part 9 with a magazine insertion hole; and the stock which has a hollow part including a magazine insertion part and a storage part for the trigger housing 4 and on which the receiver 1 and the trigger guard 10 are mounted from upper and lower sides. With an upper end of the trigger housing 4 fitted to a mounting recess, the trigger housing 4 is mounted to the receiver 1, and the trigger housing 4 is made to abut on the storage part of the stock.
