<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide indicator lamp equipment that can improve light utilization efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: Light from two light-emitting sections 21 facing each other is guided by respective optical guide members 22 and then is incident into a display body 1 having a display surface 11 provided with an indication, and the display surface 11 is caused to emit light by the light. Each optical guide member 22 is made of a translucent material, and has a guided light-incident surface 22a into which the light from each of the light-emitting sections 21 is incident and a light emission surface 22b for emitting the light incident through the guided light-incident surface 22a toward the display body 1. The optical guide members 22 are disposed in such a manner that the ends opposite from the guide light-incident surfaces 22a may abut against each other. Compared with a case that only one optical guide member is used in such a shape that the two optical guide members 22 are connected at the center, the size and shape of a central portion of the overall optical guide member 22 can be reduced. Consequently, less light is passed through from the light-emitting section 21 on one side to the light-emitting section 21 on the other side, thereby improving the light utilization efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
