PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for detecting a target for easily and completely detecting a low heat source target. SOLUTION: Infrared laser beam is radiated from an optical apparatus 11 into a visual field of an infrared camera 12, scans in the camera visual field. The reflected light of the infrared laser beam reflected on a low heat source target T is entered into the infrared camera 12 to detect the low heat source target T with a target information detector 14.
