PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable safety helmet which is excellent in a protecting function, is flattened when stored, and has a small area in the folded state. SOLUTION: The foldable safety helmet which forms a space 61 for covering a head part in the first state and is flattened in the second state is characterized in that one side 10A of a front side plate part 10 is connected to one side 20A of a rear side plate part 20 through a head bend part 30; the lateral sides 10C of the front side plate part 10 are connected to the lateral sides 20C of the rear side plate part 20 through side plate parts 40; in the first state, the space 61 is formed with the front side plate part 10, the rear side plate part 20, and a pair of the side plate parts 40; and in the second state, the front side plate part 10 closely faces the rear side plate part 20, and a pair of the side plate parts 40 are arranged between the front side plate part 10 and the rear side plate part 20.
