NOVEL PEPTIDE AND REAGENT COMPRISING THE SAME PEPTIDE FOR DETECTING TUBERCLE BACILLUS-SPECIFIC T CELL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent for detecting a tubercle bacillus-specific T cell using a peptide corresponding to an epitope determined as the epitope of tubercle bacillus.

SOLUTION: It has been found that a peptide containing an amino acid sequence (AAVENVVDT) consisting of 23rd to 31st amino acid of a specific amino acid sequence specifically stimulates T cells (CD8+) to give remarkably high volume of IFN-gamma. The peptide and reagent comprising the peptide are useful for detecting a tubercle bacillus-specific T cell (CD8+) in chronic stage.
