PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device for a game machine which has excellent decoration performance so as to give an apparent impression that a crystal ball is used in illumination using a spherical body. SOLUTION: A light source lamp 23 is arranged in the back part of an internally hollow spherical body 22 which has optical transparency and is arranged on the front surface side of the game board 10a in a Pachinko game machine. The spherical body 22 is divided into two, i.e., a front side semi-spherical body 22a and a rear side semi-spherical body 22b, and a convex lens 27 is incorporated between the divided parts. The inner surface 26 of the front side semi-spherical body 22a is formed to be a spherical surface where the thickness of the front side semi-spherical body 22a successively reduced toward the division surface from the center part. In turning-on or flickering the light source lamp 23, light transmitted through the rear side semi-spherical body 22b is diffused by the convex lens 27, so as to uniformly illuminate and display the whole front side semi-spherical body 22a.
