The method for content auditing includes following steps: receiving a request message uploaded from a content provider CP or a terminal (701); sending a confirmation message of the request message to the CP or the terminal (702); auditing the request message and generating an auditing report message (703); sending the auditing report message to the CP or the terminal (704); receiving a confirmation message of the auditing report message sent by the CP or the terminal (705); according to the confirmation message of the auditing report message, carrying out a corresponding processing on the content corresponding to the request message (706). The invention can be used for solving the problem that a Content Management Interface (CMI) component and the CP can not negotiate about the auditing report message after the CMI component auditing the content uploaded from the CP and sending the auditing report message.
