<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parental control system wherein a content acquired from a server on a network conforms to the parental setting of an information recorder and is displayed as intended by a content provider. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a request message containing place information of a content, from an information recorder, a server confirms whether the place information of the content is included in a parental control object list, and if it is included, the server transmits a redirect request message containing a parental setting value request to the information recorder. Then, when receiving a request message containing parental setting value from the information recorder, the server refers to the parental control object list to search for a line where the place information of the content contained in the request message matches an object path. Then it generates a response message by reading data from a reference path of the line in which a rate matching the parental setting value is described, and transmits it to the information recorder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
