<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle which travels by more reflecting the intention of a driver, and to provide a method of controlling the hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When an EV cancellation SW 89 is turned on in a first connection state that a master battery 50 and a slave battery 60 are connected to motor MG1 and MG2 sides and a second connection state that the master battery 50 and a slave battery 62 are connected to the motors MG1 and MG2 sides, an engine 22, the motors MG1 and MG2, a master side booster circuit 55, a slave side booster circuit 65, and system main relays 56, 66 and 67 are controlled so that the hybrid vehicle can travel in a hybrid traveling priority mode, in a slave blocking state that the driving of a slave side booster circuit 65 is stopped and that only the master battery 50 is connected to the motor MG1 and MG2 sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
