<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correctly detecting a tilt angle of even an image including a diagonal line, and to provide a tilt correction method for a read image using the method. <P>SOLUTION: The tilt angle detection method for a read image for detecting the tilt angle of a read image 11 includes: a step of performing the spatial frequency conversion of the read image 11; a step of calculating based on the converted spatial frequency, the integral value of a power spectrum 12 for each argumentθwith either a horizontal frequency component 14 or a vertical frequency component 15 as a standard in a region-of-interest 13 centered on a direct current set to be an origin; a step of performing the arithmetic processing of the calculated integral value of the power spectrum 12 and the integral value of the power spectrum 12 with which the argumentθis orthogonal, and calculating the orthogonal component correlation value of the power spectrum 12; and a step of detecting the argumentθgiving the maximum value 17 from the calculated orthogonal component correlation values of the power spectrum 12, and specifying the tilt angle of the read image 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
