摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly correct a pulse waveform of a light beam L in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An average light intensity PA of the light beam L is set as a target average light intensity PAg when generating a low frequency clock CKm. An average recording light intensity PAw for generating a recording clock CKw is compared with the target average light intensity PAg. An amplitude Ca of a correction signal SC is adjusted depending on a comparison result. The amplitude Ca of the correction signal SC can be adjusted depending on a deformation level in the pulse waveform of the light beam L, and a deformation amount in the pulse waveform of the light beam L can be reduced. Accordingly, the pulse waveform of the light beam L can be properly corrected without monitoring the pulse waveform of the light beam at short intervals, thus the pulse waveform of the light beam L can be properly corrected in the simple configuration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
