<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent detected handwriting or the position of the handwriting from being made different from handwriting written down on a sheet or the position of the handwriting, and to improve convenience by making use-friendliness excellent in a handwriting reader. <P>SOLUTION: A handwriting reader 1 includes: a reading part 2; a sheet presser board 4; and a lock sensor 5. When a sheet 80 is placed on the reading part 2, and a user writes down on the sheet 80, an electric signal corresponding to the writing is output. The sheet presser board 4 is put into either a lock state that the sheet 80 is fixed (as shown in Fig.1(b)) or a lock release state (as shown in Fig.1(a)) that the sheet 80 is not fixed by the user. The lock sensor 5 detects which of the lock state and the lock release state is the sheet presser board 4 put into. The handwriting reader 1 determines the state of the sheet presser board 4 on the basis of the detection output of the lock sensor 5, and when the sheet presser board 4 is put in the lock state, the handwriting reader 1 detects the handwriting written down on the sheet 80 by the user on the basis of the electric signal output from the reading part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
