PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a bent volume of a center part of a battery module with its either end part supported, in a battery pack. SOLUTION: The battery module 3 consists of a plurality of batteries 4, and a frame 5 retaining the plurality of batteries 4 in a column shape. The either end 3b of the battery module 3 in a column direction is supported, with a flexural rigidity of the center part 3a in the column direction made higher than that at the either end part 3b.
