PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently arranging drive TFT in pixel circuits of small pitches. SOLUTION: In this semiconductor device composed by arranging a plurality of circuits 3 including transistors on a substrate 1, a semiconductor layer 11 forming the transistors includes a first contact pad Q1, a first part R1 that is connected to the first contact pad and that extends in a direction intersecting a short direction of an arrangement pitch of the circuits, a second part R2 that extends from the first part in the short direction of the arrangement pitch of the circuits, and a second contact pad Q2 including the first part and the second part between the first contact pad and itself, where an electrode layer overlaps the second part interposing an insulating layer.
