<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide double glazing in which a spacer is inserted in an interposed state so that a space can be formed between a pair of opposed panes of plate-like glass, in which an intermediate panel is arranged between the panes of glass so that a space can be partitioned in a thickness direction so as to form a plurality of heat insulating layers, which can reduce the overall weight and manufacturing costs, and which can cope even with the deformation of the intermediate panel, caused by thermal expansion, deflection, etc. <P>SOLUTION: In this double glazing, the spacer 6 is inserted in the interposed state so that the space S can be formed between the pair of opposed panes 4 and 5 of plate-like glass; the one or more intermediate panels 7 are arranged between the pair of panes 4 and 5 so that the space S can be partitioned in the thickness direction so as to form the plurality of heat insulating layers L; and a supporting means for supporting the intermediate panel 7 on the side of the spacer 6 is provided. The intermediate panel 7 is made of a resin plate with translucency. The supporting means is constituted so that a clearance C, which allows the deformation of the intermediate panel 7, can be formed on the peripheral edge side of the intermediate panel 7 which is supported by the supporting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
