<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket examination device preventing that passengers remain in gaps of detection areas of an entrance, a center, and an exit of a ticket examination passage by creating a detection pattern assumed with walking of a passenger to achieve a high-accuracy person detection function, and to provide a person detection method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic ticket examination device 11 is set with an entrance area 21, a center area 22, an exit area 23, a first intermediate area 24, a second intermediate area 25, and a high-position area, an intermediate height area, and a low-position area in a height direction as the detection areas based on a plurality of photoelectric sensors 201-212, 301-302, in a ticket examination machine body 14, and additionally includes transmission type photoelectric sensors 31-44 disposed at an intermediate height of all the entrance area, the center area, the exit area, the first intermediate area, and the second intermediate area in common. In the automatic ticket examination device 11, a person passing the ticket examination passage is detected by the photoelectric sensors, and two adult detection patterns, three adult detection patterns, and two adult detection patterns are respectively set in the entrance area, in the center area, and in the exit area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
