PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high durable spherical bearing which has wide oscillation angle and high bearing durability required for the spherical bearing used for a robot or a stage with a multi-degree of freedom, can perform smooth action in a rotationally oscillating direction and fine angularly positioning, and keep high accuracy over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The spherical bearing is constructed by a rotationally oscillating body having a shaft section and a spherical body, and a bearing body having a concave surface section to be externally outer fitted to the spherical body of the rotationally oscillating body, wherein the concave surface section of the bearing body is formed to be a half sphere or a spherical surface shallower than it, at least one side of the spherical body of the rotationally oscillating body and half spherical concave surface section of the bearing body is set to be a magnet, the rotationally oscillating body and bearing body are integrally held by a suction force of the magnet, and the spherical bearing is made to be a hydrostatic bearing by supplying a hydraulic fluid to a hydrostatic pocket by arranging in sculpture the hydrostatic pocket in at least one side of the spherical body of the rotationally oscillating body and half spherical concave surface section of the bearing body.
