PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of working metal, wherein working can be performed in a short time. SOLUTION: This method has an injection molding process where a workpiece P is injecting-molded by using metallic particles and a binder, and a press process where a recessed part is formed in the portion to be pressed of the workpiece P by heating and melting the portion to be pressed of the workpiece P before removing the binder from the workpiece P, wherein the press process is performed while circulating a cooling medium at least in the periphery of the portion to be pressed.
