<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquid processed food whose green color development is kept vivid, which is suitable for mass production, and also the safety of which is secured. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid processed food contains food containing a base food material 2 and a coloring material 3 having tea leaves as raw material, and is obtained by processing the materials into edible condition. The base food material 2 comprises liquid material, and the coloring material 3 comprises a tea processed product obtained by mixing copper ion water W1 in which the amount of added copper ion is grasped, with tea leaves 6, heating the mixture and subjecting the mixture to copper chlorophyll treatment. The tea processed product comprises liquid tea 7 where tea leaf components are dissolved out or dispersed in the water content.
