PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of an electrode terminal of a battery while sufficiently ensuring strength of mounting the electrode terminal. SOLUTION: The battery includes a battery casing BC having an approximately flat plate shaped lid 2. A power generation element 3 having a pair of electrode plates and collectors 4, 6 connected to the electrode plates are arranged in the battery casing BC. Electrode terminals 5, 7 connected to the collectors 4, 6 are passed through the lid 2 and are drawn out to an external. Each of the electrode terminals 5, 7 is formed of a plate-like member of a bent shape so as to have a part having a position fitting to the lid 2 in a periphery of the lid 2. The electrode terminals 5, 7 and the lid 2 are joined by metal-resin junction at the parts where the electrode terminals 5, 7 are positioned to fit to the lid 2, and parts where the electrode terminals 5, 7 pass through the lid with resin existing between the electrode terminals 5, 7 and the lid 2.
