<p>There is provided a moving image encoding apparatus comprising: an encoding unit which encodes moving image data using inter-frame prediction, the moving image data being input by an image pickup unit which captures an object image, and generates an encoded bitstream; a setting unit which performs settings for an encoding process performed by the encoding unit; a transmitting unit which transmits setting information created by the setting unit to an external moving image encoding apparatus; a receiving unit which receives setting information for an encoding process transmitted by the external moving image encoding apparatus; and an encoding control unit which controls the encoding process performed by the encoding unit in accordance with a first setting made by the setting unit and a second setting based on the setting information received by the receiving unit.</p> |
