PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a healthy foamed molded product not having a molding flaw such as a reduced wall thickness part, burr or the like by certainly discharging gas from the gap between the skin material and base material in a cavity without using a complicated device. SOLUTION: Mold clamping is performed under low pressure so as to form an air passing fine gap C between the inside of the cavity 113 and the outside of a mold at a sealing place where the surface side of the terminal peripheral edge part 5a of a skin material 5 is closely brought into contact with the base material 3 by foaming pressure. After a foamable resin raw material R is spread over the whole between the skin material 5 and the base material 3, mold clamping is further performed under high pressure which is higher than the maximum foaming pressure of the foamable resin raw material R and eliminates the fine gap C at the sealing place to make the air passage between the inside of the cavity 113 and the outside of the mold impossible.
