<p>The present application relates to processes for coating surfaces and provides a method of forming a coating on a surface. The method involves bombarding a surface with particles having sufficient energy to remove surface material. At the same time an aerosol is delivered to the surface. The cooperative action of the particles impinging on the surface and the presence of the aerosol contribute to the formation of a coating on the surface.</p> |
