FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to roll mil design. Proposed roll mill comprises rolls, stand and pinion stand. Said pinion stand is coupled with rolls via idle shafts arranged at the angle to drive shaft and rolls, both arranged in parallel. Bearings of rolls are secured in stand foundation to move along arcs. Arc center is located on continuation of drive shaft of appropriate roll. Projections of rolls and drive shafts axes onto plane perpendicular thereto form isosceles trapezoid. ^ EFFECT: reduced rejections and higher quality of rolled stock. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
