PURPOSE: A method and a device for receiving broadcast data are provided to transmit the first mapping information and at least one IP packet group through a transmitting channel, thereby quickly accessing only a desired IP packet. CONSTITUTION: The first mapping information is obtained from a transmitting channel(S1010). A metadata IP packet group is obtained from a data transmitting channel using the first mapping information(S1021). The obtained meta data IP packet group as described above is processed. 'the IP address corresponding to the additional information IP packet group' obtains (S1022). An additional information IP packet group is obtained using the first mapping information and the obtained IP address(S1023).
