<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell for obtaining electric energy operable for a long period of time without risk of mechanical damage due to operation. <P>SOLUTION: The electrochemical cell for obtaining electric energy, particularly a fuel cell, includes a first electrode functioning as an anode and a second electrode functioning as a cathode, and a solid electrolyte layer formed especially in a flat shape. The solid electrolyte layer 12 is formed as a support structure of the electrochemical cell 10 in a type where the first electrode and second electrode form ion-conductive connection through the solid electrolyte layer. First of all, the solid electrolyte layer 12 is formed as the support structure, the first electrode 14 functioning as the anode and the second electrode 16 functioning as the cathode are arranged on the solid electrolyte layer, and the first electrode and second electrode are brought into ion-conductive contact with each other through the solid electrolyte layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
