<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems in a conventional 3D stereoscopic video apparatus: switching speed of liquid crystal shutters becomes insufficient since the number of frames (hereinafter referred to as the number of video frames) to be displayed per second tends to increase to improve smoothness in viewing and moving picture responsiveness, and hence the right and left pictures unnaturally enter eyes (hereafter crosstalk) and users' eyes become tired. <P>SOLUTION: A frame frequency of an input video signal is detected, and a phase of a synchronization signal is adjusted according to the frame frequency, thus automatically adjusting delay time of a switching signal (hereinafter referred to as an LR signal) of the right and left pictures to be transmitted to shutter type liquid crystal glasses according to the frame frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
