<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method in which a striking gap consequent to a carriage posture change is corrected by a simple constitution without using a nozzle for registration correction, and an image with less uneven can be recorded. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording method, recording is carried out on the basis of image data by scanning a recording head, in which a plurality of discharge opening arrays with a plurality of discharge openings aligned for discharging the ink are arranged in a main scan direction, in the main scan direction to a recording medium. The method includes a detecting step of detecting a gap amount of striking of the ink in the discharge opening array direction in a region in the main scan direction where recording is carried out to the recording medium between one discharge opening array and other discharge opening arrays among the plurality of discharge opening arrays, a correcting step of correcting a striking position of the ink based on the image data on the basis of the detected gap amount, and a recording step of carrying out recording on the basis of the corrected image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
