FLAME RETARDANT EXTRUDATE OF POLYPHENYLENE ETHER BLENDS. AND METHOD OF MAKING Extrudate of polyphenylene ether-styrene resin blends having effective amounts of an organoamine salt has been found to have improved flame retardance. Thereby avoiding the use of excessive amounts of polyhalogenated aromatic compounds or excessive amounts of ammonium halides which are difficult to disperse during the blending of polyphenylene ethers.
