PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated wire for dispersing the falling position of rain water, suppressing generation of window noises, and reducing amount of snow accretion at a low cost, since if it is made by a method of installing a rain water prevention ring and a spiral rod on the insulated wire, construction work to manufacture or purchase these members are required resulting in cost increase. SOLUTION: The insulated wire 10 includes an electric wire body 1 having conductivity and a cover portion 2 which covers the wire body 1 and has insulation performance.
