PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device, which prevents dew condensation of a guide member that guides the non-image forming surface side of paper passed through a nip portion between a fixing rotor and a pressure rotor, without making the device large and complicated, and prevents a toner image on a first surface side from being damaged by the guide member in double-sided printing. SOLUTION: The non-image forming surface side of paper P passed through the nip portion is guided with the guiding surface 181 of the guide member 18. Also, air is sent to the guide member 18 by a cooling fan 16 for cooling the paper P passed through the nip portion, and high-humidity air near the guide member is expelled out of the device through a vent hole 182 formed in the guiding surface 181 of the guide member 18. In this case, from the point of view of smoothly guiding the paper P, it is preferable that the vent hole 182 is formed in a place being hollow from the guiding surface 181 of the guide member 18.
