PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording system that facilitates specifying the position of a captured image without depending upon an advanced image analysis, and to provide an image capturing apparatus, a light emitting device and a program. SOLUTION: The information recording system includes: imaging systems 51 to 54 for temporally continuously photographing images to be an object; an image processing unit 53 for detecting the areas of light emitters that modulate information including a self-position among images imaged by the imaging systems 51 to 54 into temporal luminance change to emit light; a decoding part 65 for decoding the information including the self-position of each light emitter from the luminance changes of the plurality of light emitters imaged in the detected image areas; a control part 56 for associating the information decoded by the decoding part 65 with the images obtained by the imaging systems 51 to 54 in accordance with detection timing at the image processing unit 53 to record the information in a memory card 66; and a main memory 57 and a program memory 58.
