PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having excellent low-temperature fixability, good offset resistance, causing no contamination of a fixing device and an image, and forming a high-quality image with good sharpness over a long period for preventing image deterioration even by long-term use; and to provide a developer using the toner, a container with the toner, a process cartridge and an image forming method. SOLUTION: The toner includes at least a polyester resin serving as a binder resin, a coloring agent, a release agent, and a fixing auxiliary component. The fixing auxiliary component includes at least one of saturated fatty acid amide compound having an amide bond in molecule. In the saturated fatty acid amide compound, a melting point is not lower than 70°C and lower than 120°C, and average molecular weight is 300 or more.
