PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a tile carpet which is capable of applying a sufficient stitch removing strength of pile yarn and fuzz-resistance (fuzz strength) to a surface pile layer of a tufted carpet constituting the tile carpet without complicated treatment, and allowing a rear bonded layer to be simultaneously bonded. SOLUTION: An embossed olefin sheet 8 is bonded to a back-stitched side of the tufted carpet 2 with the embossed surface as the joined surface, and after forcing projections of the olefin sheet into fiber bundles of the back stitches (seams), the olefin sheet is fused and pressure-welded, and cooled and solidified thereafter.
