PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a legless chair by which a posture can be changed to sitting posture and a carrying posture without adopting a hinge mechanism and which can easily be carried by folding the same. SOLUTION: The legless chair comprises a seat plate having a seat face and a back plate having a backrest face and overlapping the seat plate without a gap, a holding part when sitting for holding the back plate in the sitting posture where the backrest face is coupled to the sitting face and a holding part when carrying for holding the back plate in the carrying posture where the back plate overlaps the sitting plate are arranged in the sitting plate, an engaging part capable of engaging with both of the holding part when sitting and the holding part when carrying is arranged in the back plate, carrying handle forming holes for forming a carrying handle passing through the back plate and the sitting plate in the carrying posture are formed in the back plate and the sitting plate, respectively.
