<p>A payment system provided with a payment device which performs payment with electronic money and a portable noncontact IC card case into which a noncontact IC card containing payment information to be used for the payment can be inserted. The card case is provided with an antenna for the noncontact IC card communicable with the inserted noncontact IC card, a first antenna for human body communication communicable with the payment device, and a control means which when the noncontact IC card is inserted, transmits to the payment device through the first antenna for human body communication, payment information read from the inserted noncontact IC card through the antenna for the noncontact IC card. The payment device is provided with a second antenna for human body communication which is communicable with the first antenna for human body communication and a payment means which performs payment on the basis of the payment information which the second antenna for human body communication received from the card case. An electrode plane of the first antenna for human body communication is disposed so as to overlap a radiation plane of the antenna for the noncontact IC card and comprises an opening section which exposes the radiation plane and a cut which reaches from the opening section to the periphery of the electrode plane.</p> |
