<p>A method (100) of detecting spoofing attacks in a wireless network is provided. The method comprises the steps of receiving (110) a data packet from the wireless network, determining (120) a signal strength and (130) a sender identity for the data packet, and deciding (140) whether a spoofing attack is mounted. The decision is based on the signal strength and the sender identity. Further, a wireless intrusion detection device and a computer program product are provided. The invention is based on the idea that spoofing attacks can be detected by analyzing the signal strength and the sender identity of data packets received over the wireless network.</p> |
