A data input/output device arranged to be fitted to a electrical flush or surface mounted box 10 comprises a fascia 2 for inputting/outputting data and an electrical coupling unit 6 with at least one port 9 for the transmission and/or reception of the data. Electrical contact and mechanical coupling 7 between the fascia 2 and the electrical coupling unit 6 is provided by a push fit arrangement. Thus the fascia may easily be replaced without requiring an electrician. The fascia may have a touch screen, sensors, or computer or audio ports, and may have a waterproof gasket for use in a bathroom.
