UV-STABILIZER OF REACTIVITY BENZOTRIAZOLES AND COMPOSITIONS

PURPOSE: A reactive benzotriazole-based ultraviolet stabilizer is provided to use the stabilizer as a polymeric monomer for polyester or polyurethane in a -OH or -COOH form. CONSTITUTION: A reactive benzotriazole-based ultraviolet stabilizer is obtained by substituting benzotriazole including an alkyl group with a reactive hydroxyl group, and reacting the outcome as a polymeric monomer. The benzotriazole including the reactive hydroxyl group is capable of being grafted to a polymer. The polymer is selected from the group consisting of polyester, polycarbonate, polyurethane, and polyolefin.
