Method supporting the realisation and validation of an avionic platform

The method involves associating software modules of an aircraft avionic platform with an item of an equipment on which each software module is intended to be hosted. Each functional link occurrence is associated with a path through which messages of a functional link are passed. A determination is made whether the equipment has sufficient material resources to allow execution of the software module/modules that is/are associated with the equipment. An independent claim is also included for a tool for assisting construction of an aircraft avionics platform.
